Tues 1/19 : Students will continue working on OdysseyWare assignment : Dynamics

Wed 1/20 : Students will complete their OdysseyWare assignment : Dynamic – Due today

Thurs 1/21 : Introduction to Fettucini Physics : Gather Materials and Brainstorm : Students will use prior knowledge of Newton’s 3 Laws and Net Forces to :1. To design a structure capable of holding a textbook using the materials supplied. 2. To demonstrate that the weight of a textbook is offset by the normal force exerted on the book by the structure.
3. To estimate the normal force exerted by the structure on the textbook the instant before structural failure.

Fri 1/22 : Fettucini Physics – Students will work with partners to begin building and testing their bridges to meet the criteria of the assignment.

Lesson Plans 1/11 – 1/15

Mon : Plato Lab : Students will work on computers in the Plato Lab to begin a simulation lab : Newtons Law

Tues : Plato Lab : Students will continue on computers in the Plato Lab to complete a simulation lab : Newtons Laws

Wed : Students will be led in a formal discussion to review topics covered over dynamics. For example – Newton’s Laws and Free Body Diagrams to prepare them for upcoming quiz and test. Students will be allowed to continue working on OdysseyWare assignment after review.

Thurs : Quiz : Free Body Diagram – Net Force. Students will be allowed to continue working on Odysseyware assignment after quiz

Fri : Test : Newtons Laws : Test will be taken online in classroom. After test Students will be allowed to continue Odysseyware assignment.
Odysseyware is due on Wed 1/20.
